Matthew T. Blunden, PA-C is a dedicated physician assistant at Ascension Macomb Hospital who joined Millennium Cardiology in September 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, in 2013, where he developed a strong foundation in health and human performance. In pursuit of furthering his expertise, Matthew obtained his Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Certification from Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 2017.

Matthew is committed to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care and excels in working with patients to manage a wide range of cardiac conditions. His approach prioritizes patient education, personalized care plans, and proactive risk management strategies.

When he's not in the clinic, Matthew enjoys following Detroit sports teams, especially Michigan football and basketball. He also cherishes time spent on Michigan’s beautiful lakes during the summer months, enjoying outdoor activities with family and friends.
